Proper Footwear

The Brampton Tennis Club is unique in the area because of its clay courts. However, they do require additional maintenance on the part of the groundskeeper as well as the general membership.

It is very important that all players wear the proper type of tennis shoes. The key feature is a type of shoe that generally has a flat sole rather that treads.

The shoe on the left illustrates the correct type while the one on the right would definitely damage the clay surface and must not be worn.

Players wearing improper shoes will not be permitted on the courts.
