| MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION, PROGRAM SELECTION, AND SELF-RANKING GUIDE |

Attached to the bottom of this page are the various documents which will allow members to submit their membership applications and program selection choices for the 2007 season. Included are a cover page explaining various aspects of the Brampton Tennis Club and a guide to use in order that players may rate themselves.
The forms to complete are a Membership Application form, and a Program Selection Form.
Completed forms may be brought to any of the registration sites.

| GENERAL INFORMATION |

| Self Ranking |
- members are asked to rank their level of play, according to the guide on the back of this page, and place this ranking on their membership application and program selection.

| House Leagues and InterCounty Teams (ICTA) |
- you may play as a regular on either ICTA Teams or in the House League, but you cannot play as a regular on both.
- you may only play as a regular in one House League. You may substitute in the other..
- no ICTA Team players (Mixed, Ladies, or Plus 55) can substitute in the House Leagues.
- a House League player who substitutes 3 times on any Mixed or Ladies ICTA is excluded from further House League play.
- exemption: Regular House League players who substitute only on ICTA Ladies C or Plus 55 teams.
- places in these programs are allotted on a first come, first served basis

| Mixed House Leagues |
- new members must have their ranking assessed by the club Pro before being assigned to a House League team.
- ranking is available May 1 and May 3 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Club.
- House leagues run Thursday & Friday nights from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
- ranking required - Thursday - 2.0 +; Friday - 3.0 +
- regular players need be available for 75%, or 12, of the matches; other players are placed on the Sub list.

| Intercounty Teams (ICTA) |
- organized on the basis that the strongest players will play
- team selection is based on past performance, challenges and tournament play
- regular players need be available for 75% (10) of the matches.
- in addition to scheduled weekly games are regularly scheduled team practices
- members who wish to try out for places on teams or who wish to challenge for places on teams should talk to the ICTA chair,
Frank Ganif, (or other Executive or Board of Director members) for rules, procedures and dates

| Casual Programs |
- involve drop-in play
- there is no minimum attendance requirement - members play when they wish
- program chairs help to organize play so that everyone gets equal play time in balanced team matches

| Release Waiver and Indemnification |
- we ask that all members (or the parents or guardians of members under 18 years of age) sign the waiver on the membership application form

| Brampton Tennis Club Privacy Policy |
- BTC publishes a directory of members' phone numbers for distribution to other members and for display in the clubhouse,
- and a directory of members' addresses for use by the Executive and to send to the OTA in order to receive their magazine
- in accord with Ontario law and the Ontario Tennis Association (OTA), we ask that members be aware of privacy issues
- a member who chooses to have his/her phone number and address unpublished will not receive the OTA magazine and will not be able to be contacted by coordinators of events, teams or leagues
